If you're new here, this is Proskii's weekly newsletter. Both me (Yash) and Rohit hate long emails, so we keep these short and promise not to spam your loving soul.

SACH MAI!! AMRITSARI CHOLE KULCHO KI KASAM.

Built like a warning, behaves like a suggestion πŸ₯²

The Seasonal Switch

January 1st comes around.

You make the resolution. Buy the shoes. Maybe even download MyFitnessPal.

Two weeks later β€” bas, khatam.

But something weird happens every April.

The temperature crosses 35Β°C. A wedding invite lands. Someone mentions a beach trip.

And suddenly β€” ab toh karna hi padega.

No resolution needed. Just a deadline.

Why Panic Works (Temporarily)

Here's the thing nobody says out loud:

Summer body panic works.

Just not the way you think.

It doesn't make you healthier. It makes you move.

The difference is important.

January motivation is abstract. Future you. Vague better version.

April panic is concrete. Real date. Real event. Real mirror.

Your brain doesn’t respond to intentions.
It responds to deadlines.

"I want to be fit" β€” ignored. "I have a wedding in 6 weeks" β€” suddenly you're meal prepping on a Sunday.

The Problem With Deadline Mode

Panic gets you started. It rarely keeps you going.

Because the moment the wedding is over, the trip ends, the photos are taken β€”

the urgency disappears.

And without urgency, the plan collapses.

Not because you're undisciplined. Because the whole thing was built on a deadline, not a habit.

Jab tak darr tha, tab tak chala. Darr gaya, sab gaya.

Suspiciously relaxed for April πŸ˜ŒπŸ‘€

What Actually Sticks

The people who don't yo-yo every April?

They didn't find better motivation.

They just stopped building their routine around events β€” and started building it around mornings.

Unglamorous. Unsexy.

But a morning that works β€” same time, low effort, actually filling β€” is the only thing that survives after the panic fades.

Because no one can stay in panic mode forever.

Aur honestly, why would you want to.

If mornings are the only thing that stay consistent β€” might as well make them work. You'll find ours at proskii.in πŸ₯£
